The Croatian sorcerer has cracked down again. Its Rimac Nevera, 100% electric, promises fiery performance, capable of competing with Bugatti.
New Rimac Nevera 2021 – Three years after its revelation as a study, the concept C_Two of the Croatian manufacturer materializes in “Small” series (150 copies). On this occasion, the100% electric hypercar is baptized Rimac Nevera, named after a Mediterranean storm raging off the coast of Croatia. A nice wink for the one who won the title of most powerful car in the world.
Dream features
While top speed is generally not the cup of tea for electric cars, the Rimac Nevera however shatters all other performance records. With no less than four electric motors, it has the equivalent of 1914 hp and 2360 Nm of torque delivered to four wheels, in order to dispatch the beast of 0 to 100 km / h in less than 2 seconds (1.97 s). 300 km / h is reached in just 9.7 s when the maximum speed is 412 km / h. This is the only crown that escapes it, insofar as the SSC Tuatara has largely exceeded the 500 km / h mark.
Fast charge
Accusing 2,150 t on the scale, the Rimac Nevera owes its plumpness to its lithium-manganese-nickel battery, composed of nearly 7,000 cells developing 120 kWh which are distributed in a T-shape within its base, in order to balance the masses. She announces a autonomy maximum the 550 km, provided you have a light foot. But its tension de 730 V enables lightning-quick recharging times with a 500 kW DC Combo charger. In the space of 22 minutes, it is possible to recover 80% of autonomy.
Neat interior
To compensate for the weight of its imposing battery, the Rimac Nevera makes intensive use of carbon, like its monocoque chassis, its roof, or even its engine cradle, weighing only 200 kg. A set of elements which is reinforced by aluminum parts. To ensure its road holding, it calls on a double wishbone suspension on each wheel, with controlled damping, when tires rely on Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S. Despite the daunting performance that it distils, the Rimac Nevera knows how to receive, in 4.75 m long. The interior is fully covered in leather and carbon, while three digital screens are invited on board, including one facing the passenger.
