Lush caves and a spyglass

Mojang also included a new biome from lush caves, and the pointed speleothem which makes it possible to create stalagmites and stalactites. Thanks to the “bundle”, it will be possible to assemble up to 64 objects of different types in a bag to save space in the inventory. To facilitate exploration, the editor has added a telescope, which can be created with two Copper Ingots and an Amethyst Shard.

As the name suggests, this is the first part of an update that has been split in two. Mojang announced the second part for the end of the year. Players can expect new biomes, as well as a complete change to the way caverns are generated.
