Summarize the spirit of the brand

According to the design teams who worked on this new identity, the cuvée 2021 logo “Inspires robustness and stability at first glance. The design of the letters is intentionally minimalist – the D is an inverted C – as if to visually embody the frugal and clever spirit of the brand. This geometric imprint of the logotype imprints the chain of letters with a movement of mechanical inspiration. “
Concern for economy
Dacia affirms that its new graphic universe is deliberately refined, to remind that it is a brand that focuses on the essential. But this trend is spreading among many manufacturers, opting for logos « flat design », often monochromatic and devoid of relief. Beyond the simple desire to purify design, the stake is also economic. In the future, many badges, until now chrome and embossed, will be gradually replaced by simple stickers, less expensive, lighter and also improving aerodynamics. In addition, a logo reduced to its simplest expression, in terms of graphics, is easier to operate in the digital world. Dacia is thus making its task easier in many areas.

On the color side, the palette is oriented arounda green-khaki evoking “Proximity to nature, a strong point of reference for our customers and a region where Dacia vehicles make full use of their capacity, like the iconic Duster”. An unprecedented shade that goes hand in hand with the introduction of the brand’s first 100% electric vehicle, named Dacia Spring, soon to be supported by hybrid models. Two other secondary colors – a bright orange and green – complete the range and bring “A more technical touch. “
Two logos brought together
However, the arrival of this new emblem will not drive away the current logo. This will continue to adorn the grilles of current Dacia models until they are replaced, or pending a mid-life restyling. The first model that will have the honor of unveiling this new logo is not expected before the second half of 2022.
