When will this madness finally stop? Obviously, we should not expect the situation regarding fuel prices to improve anytime soon. And for good reason, after several months of rise, until reaching sad records which motorists would have done well, gasoline and diesel continue to climb. According to the latest score from the Ministry of Ecological Transition, a liter of diesel currently costs 1.70 on average, or two cents more than last week. the lead-free 98 is not spared, since the liter now costs €1.8370, again two cents more than the previous week.
Gone to last
Unfortunately, this should not stop immediately, while the specialists are counting on an increase in the price of the barrel, which largely conditions the price paid in the station, to which must nevertheless be added 60% of taxes. According to the Minister of Transport Jean-Baptiste Djebbari at the microphone of RMC ” the price of gas is expected to start falling in the second half of next year. But the price of oil is expected to remain quite sustainably high ».
Today, the price of fuel exceeds the level of 2018, which then largely contributed to setting fire to the powder of the yellow vests crisis. Let’s hope for an improvement soon…
