The first of two races in Austria takes place from June 25 to 27, as the 8th round of the F1 season. How to watch the Styrian Grand Prix?
A few days after the French Grand Prix won by Max Verstappen, leader of the championship, the Formula 1 caravan arrives on the grounds of its Red Bull team. Like last year, Austria is preparing for the organization of two consecutive races, which was not foreseen in the initial calendar. To compensate for the cancellation of the Canadian GP (June 11-13), the discipline organizers have added an event on the Red Bull Ring under the Styrian GP label, June 25-27, which had the effect of forcing the GP of France to anticipate its holding by a week.

Departure at 3 p.m. on Canal +
In 2020, Mozart’s country also hosted two consecutive racing weekends, in July, as the launch of a season greatly delayed by the health crisis. A week after Valtteri Bottas’ victory in the Austrian GP, the first edition of the Styrian GP, named after the region in which the route is located, fell into the hands of Lewis Hamilton. Two victories for Mercedes, an affront that Red Bull intends to wash away this year, on its home circuit, one of the shortest of the season with 4.318 km. The three free practice sessions are broadcast live on Canal + Sport, while Canal + takes over, Saturday at 3 p.m., to broadcast the qualifications. Sunday, the start of the Styrian Grand Prix will also be given at 3 p.m.. The race will be on display at Canal+, after the grid is raised on Canal + Décalé. In addition, the subscription to the official service of the discipline, called F1 TV Pro, requires 64.99 euros for a year, or 7.99 euros for a month.
