Prixtel: the operator offers flexible tailor-made mobile plans
ADVERTISEMENT

With its flexible packages, Prixtel makes you pay as close as possible to your consumption. So far, the MVNO remains the only operator to offer a truly tailor-made package in France. It only charges for what you have consumed. This is the operator to follow if you want to have more control over your plan and your budget.

You don’t always have control over your mobile plan. Sometimes, you subscribe to an offer that does not quite meet your needs: a maxi data package that you do not use in full or, conversely, an offer with very little mobile internet that is not enough. not to meet his needs. In either case, the customer loses out. A sad observation that has prompted Prixtel to develop a fairer formula that will, over time, benefit everyone: the mobile phone plan flexible.

Who is Prixtel?

Prixtel is a French operator founded by David Charles in Aix-en-Provence in 2004. More precisely, it is a mobile virtual network operator or MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator). In other words, it does not have its own network infrastructure. Its services rather depend on those of the French operators (Mobile Network Operator), in this case Orange and SFR.

In return, Prixtel offers cheap mobile plans and without commitment to its customers. Subscription to an MVNO package does not in fact oblige a commitment for any duration whatsoever. The subscriber remains in control of his subscription and can terminate at any time.

But there is yet another special feature that sets a Prixtel package apart from its competitors: its flexibility.

A flexible mobile plan: what exactly is it?

To put it simply, it is a mobile plan whose price is adapted to the customer’s consumption. It may vary from month to month depending on the amount of mobile data consumed. The formula is interesting insofar as it allows customers to avoid waste and better control their budget. On receipt of the invoice, the amount to be paid will always be as close as possible to their actual consumption.

In a way, we can speak of a tailor-made mobile plan. The price is not necessarily the same for all subscribers. It depends on the consumption of each customer, and therefore on his consumer profile.

Prixtel is the only operator to offer flexible packages! On the MVNO website, we can clearly read: “each month, your bill adapts to your internet consumption. This is the policy the company has followed since its inception and has refined over time. And you can’t say it didn’t work. To date (2021), Prixtel already has more than 300,000 subscribers in its ranks. Also, the company experienced record growth of 67% in 2020. And everything suggests that it will not end there.

With the renewal of its offers and the change of logo at the start of 2021, Prixtel clearly shows its intention to grow again and again. But not in the same sense as the large operators where the objective is to encourage more intensive consumption.

On the contrary, Prixtel advocates moderation and anti-waste. The MVNO wants to stay true to its pro-consumer philosophy and offer an advantageous price, excellent network quality and offers that meet the specific needs of each customer.

What packages are available at Prixtel?

Prixtel only offers flexible mobile plans. In all, there are three, each of which corresponds to a particular consumer profile:

  • The little one: designed for small consumers,
  • The big one: this offer is suitable for average consumers.
  • The giant: this is the Prixtel package for large consumers. For now, this plan is the only one to be 5G compatible.

The pricing of Prixtel mobile plans is based on a tier system. Each level of each package is associated with a monthly rate. You just have to follow the evolution of your consumption from your customer area to know in advance the price you will pay. There will never be a surprise!

In addition, if the price of the subscription depends on the quantity of data consumed, Prixtel does not impose any limit on the communication component. Calls like SMS or MMS are unlimited, it doesn’t matter which offer you choose. For each mobile plan, the operator also offers a certain amount of data roaming.

Otherwise, you should know that Prixtel packages are without engagement. Always in this concern to find a solution favorable to consumers, the operator offers them more freedom in the management of their mobile subscription.

Finally, customers are also left with the choice of their mobile network. At the time of subscription, they will have to choose between Orange and SFR, two incumbent operators among the best in France. This first choice is not final. The customer can always change it from his customer area.

Prixtel: an operator committed to an eco-responsible approach

For Prixtel, sustainable development is not just words. The operator really wants to act for the good of the planet. And his intentions are reflected in the offers he makes.

On the one hand, the operator has made refurbished phones one of its specialties. He does not sell new smartphones. Prixtel advocates responsible consumption and helps limit the impact of these devices on the environment. On the customer side, it is also a way to save money. Note that the phones in question are reconditioned in France and in excellent condition in partnership with e-Recycle.

On the other hand, Prixtel is also the only operator to offer CO2 neutral packages today. How? ‘Or’ What ? By compensating for the gases emitted by the planting of trees in French forests. Indeed, for each mobile plan marketed, the operator undertakes to plant trees in order to fully offset the CO2 emissions caused by the use of the plan. The MVNO has partnered with Stock CO2 to bring its project to life. And we can say that things are moving, because just since October 2020, Prixtel has already planted 8,000 trees in France.
