A drone hidden in a smartphone will soon be reality

The manufacturer Vivo has filed for patents for the creation of a smartphone that houses a mini-drone. The goal: to allow taking photos and filming from a height of a few meters.

According to the patents, it therefore includes four propellers, three sensors infrared, two cameras and its own battery.

One of the cameras faces forward while the other faces up. The sensors infrared will make it possible to avoid obstacles, and we imagine that all this is tiny, and therefore very fragile to fit into a smartphone. Even the smallest drone current is bigger than a smartphone …

Without forgetting that the use of a drone obliges to respect a regulation, and that it will undoubtedly be necessary to limit oneself to three or four meters in height to benefit from it.
