This Thursday, July 8 took place the conference State of Play from Sony. It was the opportunity to discover new information and trailers on eleven games, including ten minutes of gameplay from the highly anticipated Deathloop.
After the Summer Game Fest and l’E3, the summer video game announcements continue with Sony presenting the next titles to be released on its PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles.
Deathloop: discover 10 minutes of gameplay
The main announcement of the State of Play, and presented at the end of the conference, is the highly anticipated game Deathloop from French Arkane Studios. Play as an assassin on an enigmatic island, stuck in a time loop. The goal is to kill eight targets before the day repeats itself. It will be released on September 14 on PS5 and PC.

Moss: Book II, play as a mouse in VR
The Polyarc studio opened the conference by unveiling its brand new virtual reality game, for the PSVR. This is the sequel to the adventures of the Quill Mouse, which players were able to experience in the first game. Moss, also on PSVR. No release date has been announced yet.

Arcadegeddon: a new shooter
The second new game announced is Arcadegeddon, from IllFonic studio. It is a third person shooter, playable in single player or multiplayer, with multiple biomes, mini-games, different types of enemies and bosses. The full title will be released in 2022, but players will now be able to purchase Early Access on PS5 and PC (via theEpic Games Store).

Tribes of Midgard: a system of seasons
The role-playing and survival game Tribes of Midgard releases July 27 for PS4, PS5 and PC (via Steam). The studio took advantage of the conference to unveil its post-launch projects. It will work with seasons which will bring quests, exclusive weapons and armor and companions. The first season will be The Wolf Saga. Players will be able to choose from eight classes and use runes to customize their skills.

F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch, lancement en septembre
TiGames unveiled new images of its new game F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch, a dieselpunk Metroidvania. The game will be released on September 7 for PS4 and PS5. A PC version is also planned at a still unknown date.

Hunter’s Arena: Legends, included with PlayStation Plus
Hunter’s Arena : Legends is a 30-player battle royal that incorporates many elements of the MMORPG in one universe fantastic. The game, already available in early access on PC, will be released on August 3 for PS4 and PS5, and will be included in the PlayStation Plus subscription for one month.

Sifu: an exit postponed to 2022
Sifu is a fighting and martial arts game. It offers a rather particular mechanic where the character ages each time he dies. Originally slated for this year, the game will finally be released in 2022 on PS4, PS5 and PC.

Jett: The Far Shore, explore a mysterious planet
Superbrothers and Pine Scented Studios have released their game’s first gameplay video Jett: The Far Shore. Explore and analyze a planet on board an airplane, while avoiding disrupting the wildlife local. It will be released in 2021 on PS4, PS5 and PC.

Demon Slayer –Kimetsu no Yaiba –The Hinokami Chronicles
This game is an adaptation of the manga and the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and edited by Sega. The State of Play was the opportunity to discover a little more of the gameplay. It will be released on October 15 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and PC.

Lost Judgment: become a detective
Another game published by Sega, Lost Judgment is the continuation of the game Judgment developed by Ryu ga Gotoku Studio, also known for its series Yakuza. This new trailer reveals a little more of the gameplay. The game will be released on September 24 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X / S.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut is coming to PS5
