Victor Martins, a 20-year-old French driver, has officially signed up with the ART Grand Prix team for his second season in Formula 3. A quick look back at his career.
For his second year in Formula 3, Victor Martins – driver of the Alpine Driver Academy – is offered a seat in the most successful team in the category, with eight constructors’ titles. This 100% cocorico line-up foresees a bright future for the young 20-year-old driver. With a fairly substantial experience in the promotion formula (9 years), the new ART Grand Prix driver approaches this new season with the objective of winning the driver’s championship:
“I am very happy to be able to collaborate again with ART Grand Prix, this time for the 2022 FIA F3 championship, in the continuity of a 2020 season rich in shared successes. I’m excited about this opportunity and about starting this new adventure together. Our goals are big, and we are ready to achieve them. I have already worked hard this winter to start the season well prepared from the first laps behind the wheel. I can’t wait to get back in the car! »

Thus Victor Martins remains in the French bosom and prepares to shine, at the dawn of a new Formula 3 season which promises to be very intense. Thanks to this ART Grand Prix driver status, we can imagine a colorful future for the Frenchman. Like his compatriot Théo Pourchaire, he could certainly be rewarded with a Formula 2 drive next season, if it goes well. For this, the native of Varennes-Jarcy will be able to take advantage of his certain experience behind the wheel, in particular after his last season in Formula 3 where he finished 5th in the drivers’ classification:
- 2 seasons in Formula 4 France
- 3 seasons in Formula Renault
- 1 season in Formula 3 Asia
- 1 season in Formula 3
Answer therefore from March 18 for the first Grand Prix of the season in Bahrain, to observe the evolution of Victor Martins throughout the 2022 Formula 3 season.
