It is, as always, via Twitter qu’Elon Musk just released an ad that will get people talking. It should be of primary interest to owners of electric vehicles who should be able to access the network of Superchargers within a few months. Tesla. The billionaire has indeed confirmed that the builder of electric cars would open its charging stations to other brands “later this year”.
We created our own connector, as there was no standard back then & Tesla was only maker of long range electric cars.
It’s one fairly slim connector for both low & high power charging.
That said, we’re making our Supercharger network open to other EVs later this year.

With more than 2,500 stations spread across the world totaling more than 25,000 Superchargers, the charging network of Tesla is one of the densest. For brands automobiles, be able to offer access to Superchargers Tesla to their customers would represent a significant commercial advantage.
It remains to be seen what financial and practical conditions Tesla will pose for this opening and if its own customers will benefit from preferential conditions.
