Last October, Futura noted during the IFA, the presentation of a masque purifier d’air designed by LG. Equipped with three fans, sensors and two filters, it also integrated UV-LED lamps to destroy the germs and some viruses, including the infamous coronavirus current. It is now that the manufacturer announces that the release date of this mask baptized redshank is scheduled for August. However, its price has not yet been revealed and it will only be available in Thailand at first. The brand benefits from Olympic Games of Tokyo to promote this mask which is worn by the team of the Thai delegation. It is a way of showing that the mask can be used without constraint for the sports practice outdoors.
An integrated voice amplifier
Compared to the first version unveiled ten months ago, the masque is equipped with a smaller and lighter engine. A microphone, and a mini-amplifier have also been added. This combination associated with a technology called VoiceOn amplifies the sound of the voice of the wearer of the mask so that it can be clearly audible. In addition, the battery capacity goes from 820 mAh to 1,000 mAh. A capacity that does not, however, increase the autonomy of the mask, still limited to eight hours. It takes two hours to regain 100% of the battery.
If the brand takes time to market this mask, it is undoubtedly because it must pass batteries of tests to be approved in the various countries of the world. In the meantime, the competitors are already on track, this is notably the case of Razer with his Hazel project that Futura has mentioned several times.
