F1 GP Hungary 2021: TV and streaming program
ADVERTISEMENT

Before the break, the Hungaroring circuit is hosting the 11th round of the F1 season, from July 30 to August 1. How to see the Hungarian Grand Prix?

Two weeks after the hanging noticed from the first race lap at Silverstone, Max Verstappen (Red Bull) and Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) set off this weekend to storm the Hungarian Grand Prix in an atmosphere that promises to be hot. Moreover, in terms of statistics, the Hungaroring appears to be a big gap between the Dutch and the British. In six participations, Max Verstappen has never triumphed on this circuit, being satisfied with a place on the second step of the podium in the last two editions to date. Conversely, Lewis Hamilton has eight successes there and could go down in history in the event of another victory sinceno F1 driver has ever managed to win the same Grand Prix nine times.

Departure at 3 p.m. on Canal +

The 2020 edition of the Hungarian Grand Prix will be remembered for the exit from the track, from the installation lap, of Max Verstappen and the speed of the Red Bull team to repair his car. From then on, the Dutchman was able to take the start and secure second place in the final behind Lewis Hamilton, winner from pole. One year later, Jos Verstappen’s son leads the championship, but its margin over its British rival was reduced to only eight points after Silverstone. Last meeting before the summer break, the Hungarian Grand Prix is contested on one of the shortest tracks of the season with 4.381 km and 70 laps to complete. Friday July 30, Canal + Sport is in charge of broadcasting the two free practice sessions, while Canal+ takes over over the next two days. This concerns free practice 3 and qualifying, Saturday at noon and 3 p.m. respectively, then the race whose departure will be given on Sunday at 3 p.m.. In addition, the subscription to the official service of the discipline, called F1 TV Pro, requires 64.99 euros for a year, or 7.99 euros for a month.
