Used Lexus CT 200h: our opinion, from 10,000 euros
ADVERTISEMENT

Replaced by the UX within the Lexus range, this CT 200h, which uses the driveline of the Toyota Prius, has had a 10-year career.

From 2011 to 2020, from € 10,000

Restyled twice – in 2014 and 2017 – this compact hybrid “by” Lexus will have had a long career of almost 10 years, without any major modification. It is now the UX SUV that has supplanted it within the range. This premium compact uses the drivetrain of the old Toyota Prius, combining a 1.8 liter 4-cylinder Atkinson cycle petrol engine with a synchronous electric motor for a cumulative power of 100 kW (136 hp). Pleasant to carry, and with good ergonomics, this traction with rigorous behavior, however, lacks vigor and dynamism on the road ; it is appreciated more in urban and peri-urban use where it excels. Despite some quality plastics quite ordinary for a premium model, it enjoys a rather pleasant presentation but deplores a habitability, and a trunk, any. Many offers and declining odds.

RELIABILITY 4/5

Very good reliability, but not exceptional for a… Lexus, marred by a number of problems at the start of its career.

  • Thermal motor : possible excess oil consumption, before 2015 (pistons replaced); clicks, in 2011 (injectors, intake manifold); high engine speed (reprogramming).
  • Direction : clicks (shaft to be replaced).
  • System malfunctions multimedia and GPS.

Examples of announcements

  • 200h Emotion, 2011       57 000 km      11 900 €
  • 200h Sport Edition, 2016       25 000 km      15 900 €
