Discover the Atlas ATV, an extreme 4X4 powered by a Renault engine and capable of carrying up to 12 people.
In recent years, raised models have been on the rise, while almost all manufacturers have decided to integrate this segment. Generalist brands, of course, but also more luxurious ones, such as Bentley or Lamborghini. In other words, driving an SUV is no longer very original today, while the offer is now bloated and now meets the needs of all customers. Are you looking for a more exotic vehicle, which does not go unnoticed and which changes Renault Captur and other Peugeot 2008? We may have the solution for you. Well, rather Atlas Industry, a Ukrainian company hitherto completely unknown and whose information about it is rather scarce. However, the firm has been talking about it for a few days, when it has just lifted the veil on a new elevated vehicle, which has nothing to do with the models currently sold on our market.
Baptized Atlas ATV, this brand new 4X4 is unlike anything we know at the moment, already by its size, not really adapted to our French roads. If its dimensions have not been announced, the Russian mastodon imposes some and is not really made for fitness walks. Because his thing is more crossing and extreme conditions. Weighing 2,200 kilograms and benefiting from a ground clearance of 58 centimeters, the Ukrainian 4X4 can stand up to all the elements and all situations. Note that the vehicle can also accommodate up to twelve people, and that the rear seats can be removed to leave room for a stretcher, for example. Based on huge wheels, the diameter of which has not been communicated, this Atlas ATV can also carry up to 1,500 kilos of material, eliminating the need for a trailer.
Designed for all situations
Able to travel up to 60 km / h on land, the mastodon can also travel up to 7 km / h in water, while the maximum depth is not known. Obviously equipped with all-wheel drive, the Atlas ATV is also equipped with swivel wheels which can then be adjusted in three modes. But the most astonishing is undoubtedly what is hidden under its hood, since the 4X4 has an original Renault engine, since it is the 1.5 liter dCi which equips among others the Dacia Duster and Logan as well as the Nissan Qashqai. It then develops 90 horses only for 220 Nm of torque, but the Ukrainian firm stresses that its vehicle can travel more than 800 kilometers with a single full tank. The maintenance frequency is reduced, while the visit to the garage should only be done once every 2000 hours.
No price has been announced for this machine, built to order and fully customizable according to needs.
