Having a smartphone is good. Knowing how to manage the use of the data that passes through it is better. So, how do you remove browsing traces on Android?
Like on PC, smartphone browsers and tablets keep a lot of information on the user’s habits: cache, history, passwords, cookies… As much data as intrusive as it is heavy on the small storage spaces of mobile devices. The main browsers allow you to simply delete this data, or even deactivate its recording.
Delete history and cookies on Android
The browser integrated into Android thus has a menu Privacy and Security in its Settings. From there, with just a few taps, you can Empty the cache , Clear history, Clear all cookies, Clear form data and Clear passwords. There are the possibilities of no longer recording this information for greater security. Likewise, it is recommended not to authorize geolocation through this menu.
For Google Chrome, also go to the Settings, in the category Advanced options. Select Clear navigation data then the data you want to delete. You can also prohibit saving passwords.
Dolphin side finally, go to Settings then Advanced settings. There, choose Clear data and select the items you want to delete. In this same menu of advanced options, you can decide to browse without history (Browse without history).
