This Wednesday, February 23, the police of Antibes, in the Alpes-Maritimes, intervened for an accident not trivial. And for good reason, a Clio 2 was wading alone at the seaside.
When the police saw this Renault Clio 2 half in the clear water of the Cap-d’Antibes, the driver was already gone. It is therefore difficult to know what could have happened, but several hypotheses are plausible.
Drunk driving? Involuntary loss of control? Or even a scuba diving lover in a little too much of a hurry to see the bottom? At any rate, the injured driver was not there to give his version of the facts when the police arrived.
A breakdown team was therefore called in to help get the little car out of the water and take it to a specialist for an expert assessment.
Our colleagues from Nice morning managed to get some footage and you’ll see it’s quite impressive.
Hervé and Quentin, from the Golf towing company in Antibes, proceeded to remove the damaged vehicle. An expertise will be carried out later and the owner of the vehicle must still be identified. #Antibes pic.twitter.com/umlK7oMVy4
