On July 23, in Hastings, New Zealand, the police arrested a motorist for excessive speeding. But his reaction left them speechless.
When the New Zealand police noted the 176 km/h of this driver on a country road, they did not give him a single chance. No, the speeding driver was caught by the police and checked on the spot.
But faced with the announcement of his speed, the driver had a reaction as improbable as it was unexpected. And for good reason, he did not deny, quite the contraryhe even confessed to the police that he was driving even faster than the speed recorded by their radar.
According to him, his speed was 195 km/h at the time of the incident. A confession that did not fail to surprise the police present on the spot.

But despite his honesty, the offender was still sanctioned by the court of Napier. For this speeding, the driver was therefore sentenced to 150 hours of community service as well as a suspension of the driver’s license for a period of 18 months.
Faced with this, the culprit felt that his sentence was “excessive”. cheeky from a man who’s already been sentenced 6 times and who collects no less than 20 offenses between 2002 and 2020…
