Peugeot 5X8: when the 508 PSE meets the 9X8 of the 24h of Le Mans – Peugeot has not yet entered the 24 hours of Le Mans. the Sochaux firm is already talking about it since the revelation of its Hypercar which will compete next year in the main discipline. A worthy heir to the iconic 905, named 9X8, with a very sharp style, which we wanted to mix with the only sporty representative of the range. Thanks to the magic of Photoshop software, the Peugeot 508 PSE captures the most flamboyant styling elements of the racing model to take the form of this incredible prototype.
A dream prototype
Discovering theimpressive bow of the Peugeot 9X8, many observers saw in his eyes a nod to some iconic lion sedans, and more particularly to the 505. It is precisely this lineage that pushed Auto-Moto to operate a transplant of the organs of the 9X8 on the most recent sedan in the catalog. Thus, the one that we took the liberty of renaming Peugeot 5X8 resumes the entire facies of the Hypercar which fits easily under the curve of the bodybuilder-type hood of the original 508. Added to this is the rims of the Le Mans prototype, as well as its side sills and vertical rear lights. Finally, it seemed essential to us, like the icing on the cake, to put on your trunk a huge fin paying tribute, this time, to Peugeot’s glorious past in the Supertourism championship.
