In mid-September, Netflix will broadcast an unprecedented documentary shedding light on the career and private life and health of Michael Schumacher.
Controversial career, shattered fate. The life of seven-time Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher provides abundant material for documentary or fiction. the September 15th, a film produced and directed by the German Vanessa Nöcker will be broadcast on the Netflix streaming platform. The documentary – the duration of which has not been communicated – will retrace the fate of the German champion from his karting debut at the age of 4 on the track of Kerpen to his terrible skiing accident, including his success at Benetton. or Ferrari.
The film was authorized by the Schumacher family, very discreet about the state of health of the champion since 2013. Among the testimonies are those of his son, Mick, his daughter Gina-Maria, his brother Ralf or his wife, Corinna. The film will present in particular the private archives of the family (photos, films, etc.). It also addresses the question of the health of the seven-time world champion.
Jean Todt, Bernie Ecclestone, Sebastian Vettel, Mika Häkkinen, Damon Hill, Flavio Briatore, Willi Weber (driver’s agent) or Sabine Kehm (Schumacher manager) also comment on their relationship or rivalry with Michael Schumacher.
