German manufacturers reign over their land, even more than two years ago in Frankfurt, for lack of competition.
At the last edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show, in 2019, German manufacturers dominated the debates. This is hardly surprising, given the importance of a home salon. Two years later, the biennale moved to Munich and this domination was accentuated. In question, the less presence of non-Germanic builders, knowing that the British and Italian representatives have completely ignored the situation.

Really playing at home, BMW presents the new 2 Series as well as several electrified models of its range i. The stand of the Munich firm contains the i4 sedan, the large iX SUV, the iX5 Hydrogen and the iVision Circular concept and its particular front. That of Mercedes is also well stocked on the same theme through the EQ family, with concepts EQG and EQT, while AMG unveils its variant of the EQS and Maybach an EQS SUV. Clan Audi is limited to the Grandsphere concept car, prefiguring an electric A8.
On the stand Volkswagen, we retain the presentations of the ID Life, future electric city car, and the ID5 GTX, electric coupe SUV in camouflaged version. Belonging to the group, the Spanish brand Cupra presents for the first time to the public its compact electric Born, technical cousin of the Volkswagen ID3. Against the Germans, we find the Korean group Kia-Hyundai headlining, the fifth generation of the Kia Sportage SUV. Note also the presence of the Chinese manufacturer Wey with a concept car and Microline, ultra-urban 100% electric as standard, inspired by the legendary Isetta.
