A designer has already imagined what the future Tesla Model Q could look like, which would embody the brand’s entry level.
It has been a few years since the noises of the corridors speak of an ultra-adorable model proposed by Tesla, which would be launched in the next few years and which would then display a base price below the € 25,000 mark. Known as the Tesla Model 2, the small electric compact would then logically be under the Model 3, already relatively affordable compared to the brand’s other models. But for now, it is true that we still know relatively little about this newcomer, while rumors are already rife about her. But one thing already seems certain: it will not bear the name of Model 2. Indeed, Elon Musk would have already confirmed it to his teams, evoking a change of name, which is to say the least surprising. If no additional information has been given on this subject, the graphic designers of Carforce 247 posted on Instagram illustrations of his own, featuring the name “Tesla Model Q”.

Where does he get this information from? We do not know, while the boss of the Californian brand has not given details on the future zero-emission compact. But anyway, the graphics tablet pro had a blast, creating no less than four visuals illustrating different versions of the hypothetical and highly anticipated. Model Q. Four colors are therefore visible, inspired by those already offered on the other models. The last image of the carousel posted on Instagram also shows what appears to be a Performance variation, notably recognizable by its red brake calipers. If all this is for the moment only a simple interpretation of the style of the car, the result seems rather convincing, inspired by the lines of the Tesla Model 3, however slightly revised to distinguish itself from it. The silhouette is more compact, and if the rear has not been shown, we notice a small roof spoiler giving a little extra dynamism.
Imminent arrival?
For the moment, there is little information relating to this Tesla Model Q, which should not take too long to arrive, however. Indeed, Elon Musk had declared recently that he did not wish to launch the electric compact after 2023. For now, nothing has been said on his technical sheet, but no doubt that the performance should be a little down compared to other models in the range, more expensive and more upscale. Anyway, the businessman, also at the head of SpaceX would like this newcomer in the catalog to no longer be equipped with pedals or steering wheel, thus suggesting 100% autonomous driving. Can this goal be reached in time? Nothing is less certain, but we know that Elon Musk is capable of the craziest feats. Either way, according to Carforce 247, the future Tesla Model Q is set to compete with stars like the Volkswagen Golfs and other Hyundai i30s, which may also go electric in the coming decades.
