Renault is taking advantage of the transition to its new range of finishes to offer the Kangoo versions with an EDC automatic gearbox.
On March 1, Renault is upgrading several of its models to the 2022 model year, and taking the opportunity to offer them the new range of finishes. Finished the Zen, Intens or Limited, now place the Equilibre, Techno or Iconic inaugurated by the electric Mégane. The third generation Kangoo is no exception, and unveils its new range.
New finishes for the Kangoo…
The Kangoo’s Zen and Intens finishes give way respectively to the Equilibre and Techno versions. Renault takes the opportunity to review the equipment, with some minor changes: removal of the lock button on the door handles and the Renault inscription on the rear doorscrosswind stabilization assistance now standard, active blind spot warning and LED side repeaters as a package…
On the Equilibre series, the Kangoo is also modified with a black grille, black fog lamp surrounds and head restraints and a matte black gear lever base. On the other hand, the top of the rear plate becomes your body instead of the chrome strip. We also note the standard arrival of the closed glove box, and a meteor gray dashboard. The sliding side door inserts are also black like the rest of the door.
…and arrival of the EDC box
Renault announces the arrival of the EDC automatic gearbox on the Kangoo. Very popular with customers on passenger vehicles for a few years, it was currently unavailable on the MPV. From now on, the Kangoo will therefore have EDC on the Blue dCi 115 hp and TCe 130 hp engines., only on the Techno finish. The requested premium is €2,100 over the BVM variants, with a starting price set at €30,600 for the 130hp EDC petrol and €31,500 for the 115hp EDC diesel. The Losange takes the opportunity to increase the prices of the other versions, since the Kangoo Zen has so far started at €25,150 against €25,500 from March.
