Playmobil is expanding its car collection by launching a replica of the mythical Mini Cooper in miniature version, with its accessories.
who said that the Playmobil were only for children? Because for years, the German company has been offering several collections around the automobile, for young and old alike. Mercedes, Porsche, Volkswagen or Aston Martin, many brands and models have been declined and miniature versions including the 911 GT3 Cup, the 300 SL or the iconic DB5 of James Bond. But at the start of the year, the toy brand is enriching its catalog with a very different model, which should appeal to children and their parents alike, and no doubt bring back fond memories.
Already available
It is indeed the Mini Cooper, which has just made its arrival in the range of Playmobil. The mythical English city car, created in 1959 by Alec Issigonis has therefore arrived in the range, to the delight of enthusiasts! Dressed in a blue body and two white stripes, it wears pretty chrome rims reminiscent of those of the real Mini. Small amusing detail, the roof is removable, allowing to open the roof of the small car, the trunk of which can also be opened.
Able to accommodate up to four people on board, this Mini comes with two characters in British attire, an English policeman and a Dalmatian. Note that the steering wheel is installed on the right! Already available, this Mini Cooper is displayed at 71.99 € on the site of Playmobil.
