Hecatomb in the garage Red Bull. Whereas Max Verstappen was about to give himself a chance to win the Bahrain Grand Prix, he saw his single-seater drop him in two stages. It was first the power steering that let go of the reigning world champion. Before seeing its engine block delivering no power. A lap later, his teammate, Sergio Pérez suffered the same problem. The Austrian team presented themselves as the best team to compete Ferrari. She finally sees her two cars abandoned in the first round of the season. The power pack batteries of the mark seem to be the cause of the problem.

This unreliability also ended up touching theAlpha Tauri from Pierre Gasly, equipped with the same engine. It is therefore 3 out of 4 cars powered by Red Bull that do not reach the finish of the Bahrain Grand Prix. The problem is therefore general and worrying, while the engines are frozen because of the new regulations 2022.

For the moment, none of the team leaders has wished to make any statement on the subject. The problem is not yet targeted according to them, we will have to wait and see next weekend, in Saudi Arabia from March 25 to 27.
