This weekend took place the Grand Prix of Laguna Seca in Indycar. The race smiled on Romain Grosjean and yet the weekend got off to a bad start.
It’s a third podium for Romain Grosjean this weekend in Monterrey, California. The Frenchman shone once again in IndyCar and yet the signs were not all green before starting the race. The day before, the former Haas driver and his new teammate Ed Jones were on display on the California circuit. In a Honda Civic Type-R, the two men had a big collision as they entered the pits.
According to the team who spoke a few minutes after the incident, the car would have presented a problem with the brakes. This little problem therefore prevented Grosjean from slowing down properly to enter the pit lane safely. As a result, the car hit the protective tires. Fortunately more fear than harm for the two drivers from Dale Coyne Racing who were simply well shaken.

Sacred antecedents
This did not disturb Romain Grosjean. The rookie came to offer himself a third podium in IndyCar on the legendary Laguna Seca circuit. He also spoke at the end of the race and does not seem to have any grudge against the circuit: βLaguna Seca, I love you, that’s all I can say!β.
Moreover, his IndyCar adventure does not seem to be over yet since the Swiss-Frenchman is now approached on the side of the Andretti Autosport team.
