” Do not do this, do not do that. » This is what Jacques Dutronc sang. Almost 55 years ago now. A ritornello with mocking tunes. But which, in the context of the climate – and more broadly environmental – crisis that we are experiencing today, could well start to become slightly annoying. I’application The Good Habits, she comes a little against the current. With the ambition to put our personal needs, even our desires, at the heart of our eco-responsible approach.

The application can currently be tested on the EDF Pulse & You platform. It’s a beta version. So there are a lot of improvements to be made. On the form, especially. Normal. In a few days, already more than 50 Pulsers have shared their experiences. But Futura wanted to make up its own mind. By focusing a little more on the substance.

And what we found out about The Good Habits, these are, in fact, a host of small habits proposed by members of the community. Habits that they seem to have adopted themselves. in many areas of everyday life. Food, hygiene and beauty, maintenance, fashion, health. Habits, and this is perhaps the most interesting thing, which are also classified according to desires and motivations that may be specific to us.

The magic The Good Habits

“Finding Meaning”, this is precisely what inspires me in particular. Thalie BB’s idea of “to serve one’s neighbours”, for example. Because I know that letting my benevolence express itself does me good, in general. So, I will surely follow the advice of Thalie BB and “Let me know I’m available”. She still sees a downside. On The Good Habitswe do not hide the difficulties: “You have to devote time to it during your rest time. » But I have a feeling that doing small favors for my neighbors—many of them are elderly—would have an effect on me just as “recoverer” just a time of rest.

And that makes me want to share a good habit too. So that’s the magic of The Good Habits. Feel carried by the enthusiasm of others. So, as a preview, I give you the eco-responsible habit that I adopted a few months ago: becoming a volunteer in a SPA refuge. A way for me to do myself good by being around dogs. But also of do good for the planet by encouraging adoption rather than purchase.

Among other tips on The Good Habits to find meaning: organize evenings without TV, keep a journal of gratitude or even declutter your mind by writing. In the end, no real great discoveries for me, it must be admitted. But an undeniably positive atmosphere which, on its own, does so much good. And restores the desire to adopt eco-responsibility for good.
