Dacia range price: how far will the price increase go?

Dacia is one of the manufacturers who offer the cheapest models on the market, with tempting proposals with a very interesting quality/price/equipment ratio. Corn the Romanian is not immune to the soaring prices operated by all the manufacturers following the crises of components and raw materials. It even seems to become more and more greedy over the months, with a new price increase across the entire range.

Since April 5, the four models in the range have revised their price list with significant increases. The inflation suffered ranges from €300 to €1,300 depending on the version. The Sandero, which had already passed the €10,000 mark recently, is now approaching €11,000 at the entry level. The Jogger, for its part, exceeds €15,000 in access prices despite its very recent marketing.

Dacia Spring

For the Spring, as we have seen, the increase is strong with €1,000 more for the Comfort and Comfort Plus variants, and €1,300 more for the Business reserved for professionals. Fortunately, the ecological bonus partly limits this increase.

Dacia Sandero and Sandero Stepway

The Dacia Sandero had already increased its prices at the end of February, passing the €10,000 mark for the entry-level, when it started its career at €8,690. The Romanian city car increases its prices again, a few weeks later, with €450 more for LPG variants and €300 more for other variants. The base price, in Essential finish with a 65 hp petrol engine, therefore increases to €10,790. The Stepway variant, with a more adventurous look, undergoes the same inflation. It now starts at €14,290 with the 90 hp TCe petrol unit.

Dacia Duster

The Duster, a real success of the brand with more than two million units produced since 2010, regularly reviews its price list. The SUV increases its prices this time by €500 on all LPG versions, including the entry level (which is not always subject to inflation to maintain a canonical access price). The other variants require an additional €400. Thus, the Duster starts at €15,490 in the Essential finish, equipped with the 100 hp Eco-G engine.

Dacia Jogger

The Jogger, just marketed, is already reviewing its prices. And Dacia is not going with the back of the spoon! The entry-level Essential GPL 5-seater costs €500, and now exceeds €15,000. Certainly, the model is still very attractive, with 15,490 € in access price, equipped with the 100 hp petrol-LPG engine. In contrast, the other finishes equipped with the LPG engine require 1,000 € more in 5 places and 1,050 € more in 7 places! Versions fitted with the 110 hp TCe petrol engine require an additional €800 for 5-seaters, and €850 for 7-seaters.
