It is an absolutely improbable story that our colleagues from the Parisian. Indeed, it concerns a young man of 23 years in a very delicate situation.
And for good reason, in 2019, the young man, then 20 years old, was sentenced for organized gang theft and concealment. In this case, his vehicle at the time was then seized by the courts. But his Clio was not scrapped but assigned to a police department in Essonne.
So far nothing extraordinary only here, since this story, the young man keeps getting fines. A fortnight for speeding, blown red lights or even prohibited parking and all, with the same car still in question.
In total, all these PV amount to the modest sum of 4,000 euros with the increases.
Enough is enough
The young man therefore began by contesting these fines but for that, he was obliged to pay each time: “Once 90 euros, it’s fine. But three, four, five times… I’m not rich. I’m an order picker and I don’t earn much. And even by contesting, we are not sure of being reimbursed”.
Since then, the police have taken charge of the file and claim to have noted “human and computer error”. Everything should therefore be settled fairly quickly.
