But it seems that the brand is finally a little more inclined to communicate, while it has just lifted the veil on a first image of its supercar, without any artifice this time. However, this is its pre-production version, which could perhaps undergo some very slight changes, before it goes on sale.
So here we are faced with what comes closest to the final version of the american sportswoman, and immediately, a detail calls out to us. Where has the big fin seen on the first spyshots circulating on the net for a few weeks? The brand did not answer this question, but everything suggests that it is part of an optional aerodynamic kit, which should be detailed a little later. Anyway, this new version differs from the standard C8 by a more aggressive style, which goes through a redesigned bumper, specific wheels as well as new air intakes at the front and on the sides. If the rear has not yet been officially shown, the first spy photos suggested that it had also undergone some changes, especially at the level of the diffuser. But for now, all this is only pure speculation, while the firm is still discreet about this future version.

For the time being, Chevrolet has not given any information on the technical specifics of its new Corvette Z06. But the first noises from the corridors already evoke the presence under its hood of an atmospheric 5.5-liter V8, already used on the C8.R, intended for competition. This mechanism could then develop no less than 625 horsepower, sent to the rear wheels via a Tremec transmission. As a reminder, the standard Chevrolet Corvette C8 carries a 6.2-liter V8, which then claims a power ranging from 490 to 495 horsepower with the pack. Z51 Performance. The 0 to 100 km / h is then achieved in just three seconds, for a maximum speed set at 295 km / h.
It only remains to wait before knowing more about this new version, which should undoubtedly be made official in the course of next year.
