New price increase at Dacia, with an increase ranging from 150 to 600 € depending on the model. The Spring electric is particularly affected.
Decidedly, the prices of Dacia increase every month! After a big inflation in April, which we hoped would be unique for the spring, the Romanian brand is once again raising its prices for the month of May. This time, the rise is €150 to €600, compared to up to €1,300 for the previous month’s inflation. This increase in the price of new cars affects many manufacturers, who adjust their prices due to shortages of components (including the famous semiconductors) and inflation in the price of raw materials such as steel, in addition to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Dacia reflects this on the price of its models, which are known to be very accessible. The increase concerns almost the entire range, the Duster being spared this time.
The Spring is approaching €20,000
It is in fact the Dacia Spring which suffers the most from this increase in proportion to the purchase price. The small electric, which nevertheless remains the cheapest on the market, had already required an additional €1,000 to €1,300 in April. For May, the battery-powered city car sees its price increase by €600 for all its versions. It is therefore dangerously close to €20,000 and now starts at €19,290 for individuals in the Comfort finish. A big difference from the price displayed when it was launched in 2020: €16,990.

€500 to €600 more for the new Jogger
Just marketed, the Jogger is not spared and undergoes its second increase in two months. Like the Spring, the model asks 600 € more on all its versions, except for the entry level Essential Eco-G 100 5-seater which limits the increase to €500. The model therefore starts at €15,990, and climbs to €21,100 in its over-equipped Extreme+ limited series in a 7-seater version.

€150 extra for Sandero LPG
For the Sandero, it is only the LPG Eco-G 100 hp engine that is affected by this increase. It must be said that the city car had already undergone a significant increase in February, taking it above the €10,000 mark at entry level. This time, Dacia is only upping the petrol-LPG bi-fuel engines, with €150 more. The city car therefore remains displayed at €10,790 at the entry level, but climbs to €13,090 in the LPG version with the Essential finish. The rugged version Stepway suffers the same fate.
