Johann Zarco regains the absolute Bugatti Circuit record ahead of Francesco Bagnaia and Fabio Quartararo. Summary and ranking of the 3rd free practice session of the French Motorcycle Grand Prix.
After Enea Bastianini (Ducati) in free practice 2, it’s the turn of Johann Zarco (Ducati) to realize the best time and resume the absolute track record (1:30.537) on the occasion of the 3rd practice session of the French Grand Prix. Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) follows the French very closely, while Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) completes the podium a small tenth behind.
El Diablo allowed Marc Marquez to qualify in the top 9 and so onoffer a ticket for Q2. The Spaniard used the Yamaha as a benchmark. Throughout the second half of the session, the two champions played with each other to push each other to set the best time possible. This opportunity served the Honda rider well, who made the 4th time of the session.
