This old Dacia Lodgy is one of the most affordable 7-seater models on the market. Its behavior is very correct and its comfort of a very good level.
From 2012 to 2021, from €7,500
In the process of being supplanted by the new Jogger, this Lodgy, at the crossroads between station wagon, minivan and MPV remains the most affordable vehicle in its segment, especially in its 7-seater version. Despite its rather successful restyling in 2017, it stands out more for its roominess and practicality than for its line. It can thus carry 7 passengers, thanks to two real third-row seats, or bake up to 2.5 m3 of cargo! Despite seats lacking in support, it offers a very good cushioning comfort – at the front at least – which absorbs the unevenness of the road very well. While its driving pleasure does not logically rival that of a sedan, its behavior is more than honest, well supported by a rather intrusive but effective ESC anti-skid, delivered as standard from 2014 only. It remains to compose with a basic modularity and a passive safety credited with only 3 EuroNCAP stars. Engines 1.2 turbo-essence 115 ch ou 1.5 dCi 110 ch.
Reliability 4/5
This Dacia enjoys, once again, very good reliability thanks to its technological simplicity.
- All engines : sometimes impossible to start requiring reprogramming of the central unit, sometimes carried out during the first service (recall of 7,000 Lodgy – and Dokker – in February 2013).
- 1.5 dCi 110 : holes in acceleration (management).
- Clutch grazing, to be replaced.
- Train before noisy (shock absorbers or cups).
- Malfunctions air conditioning, GPS or central locking.
- Back seat : failure of the locking strikers (reminder in April 2014).
