Total has clarified the contours of its discount of 10 cents per liter of fuel which will come into effect this summer at service stations on motorways.
This Wednesday, May 25, TotalEnergies organized a general meeting. An event marked, in particular, by disruptions from climate activists. But also by revealing the details of the future discount of 10 euro cents on the price per liter of fuel.
Thus, the latter will be active on motorways, in 123 TotalEnergies stations. It will last between July and August, for the vacation period. It will probably apply directly to the price per litre. This from the first liter, without quantity limit. All fuels are concernedwith the exception of E85 superethanol and non-road diesel (GNR).
The return of Total’s 10-cent discount on fuel
By doing this, the French energy company restarts a discount arrested a short time ago, on May 15. From April 1 to this date, all of the group’s petrol stations displayed a 10 cents per liter discount on fuel. The group had already indicated end of April that it would implement a similar discount during the summer on the highways.
The latter was cumulative and will always be added to that of 18 centimes from the government. Because if the government discount was initially to last until July 31, it will be extended. However, all the details are not yet known. The public authorities are indeed working on different help. Wanted more focused and fairer just a general discount.
