The BIG event organized by Bpifrance opened its doors Thursday, October 7. A whole day to understand the challenges of tomorrow and technological trends. It is also the opportunity for business creators, large groups, startuppers, very small businesses, SMEs, mid-cap companies … to meet, to exchange. Among them, our partner EDF Pulse Ventures.
EDF Pulse Ventures, the group’s corporate investment fund, has been supporting the growth of start-ups engaged in energetic transition. Present on the BIG, EDF Pulse Ventures offers two distinct highlights:
- A masterclass on the challenges of energy transition within companies with, as speakers in particular, Julien Villeret, EDF Innovation Department.
- A round table will be held from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the theme: “Succeeding in scaling up, the example ofhydrogen, from start-ups to major projects ”with Michel Vanhaesbroucke, director of EDF Pulse Ventures and EDF Pulse Incubation
Finally, for those who want to understand how EDF Pulse Ventures supports start-ups, it will be possible to meet the PowerUp team, which relies on ten years of CEA-Liten research to offer control and sustainable use of batteries. Thanks to EDF Pulse Ventures, the start-up was able to raise funds of 5 million euros and continue its development.
