Porsche and Rimac continue to strengthen their ties. This is done via a new investment by the German brand in the small Croatian manufacturer.
Already last year, Porsche had invested in Rimac to increase its stake to 24% in the Croatian firm. The German giant again injected a large sum to help with Rimac’s expenses.
The small start-up is investing $500 million to advance its electric hypercar project. Porsche will again participate in this investment tour. However, he will not have greater decision-making power.
Last year, the Stuttgart manufacturer added $70 million. This year, the amount remains unknown, but we know that it is counted in tens of millions of dollars. Porsche thus confirmed that it was a “eight digit sum”.
