Ford F-150: why tail lights are awesome

Pickup truck owners will love this new system Ford has put in place for its new F-150. LED indicators that prevent overloading the trailer.

The problem with owning a pickup is that thewe can tend to overload it without even realizing it. Only if the driver does not realize it at the time, the shock absorbers themselves suffer instantly.

Confronted with this, Ford has developed a new LED indicator system to no longer make mistakes.

A user shared this on his Twitter account and you will see, it’s very silly, but so practical.

As the vehicle is fully aware of the maximum load it can carry, it will indicate itself when the load becomes too important. For this, small light points will appear next to the right turn signal. 4 being the maximum, we can see here that only two are lit.

Love the new onboard scales for F-150. The two (of four) small LEDs in the tail lamps let you know how much payload capacity you have left. pic.twitter.com/43ZeC918Qy

Practice

Simple, efficient and discreet, these small indicator lights allow F-150 owners not to stupidly damage their pickup.

Especially since, as we can see in the photos above, the trailer is only half of its capacity and yet the load is already impressive.
