This folding electric bike is the lightest on the market

The Austrian brand Vello presents the folding electric bike the lightest on the market. Thanks to its frame titaniumthis Bike+ falls below the symbolic bar of 10 kgwhereas it is sometimes necessary to count the double for this type of devices.

With its 9.9 kg, the Vello Bike+, thanks to its frame titaniumweighs barely more than a pack six bottles of water! Therefore, it is quite easy to mount stairs or take the metro without getting tired. In addition to its light weight, the Vello Bike+ folds and unfolds in just 8 seconds, which makes it easy to transport, in all circumstances.

The Bike+ series is equipped with a particularly well-thought-out all-in-one rear hub motor since it incorporates both the 250 W electric unit and its associated battery. Also note that the electric bike has an automatic recharging system for this battery, thanks to a system that recovers thekinetic energy during braking or downhill phases (Kers technology). Fact, the batteries does not need to be recharged, except in Turbo mode where the vitesse maximum easily exceeds 25 km/h and where its autonomy is of the order of 50 km.

The titanium version, and therefore light, of the Vello Bike+ is available from 4,490 euros, compared to 3,290 euros for the classic version.
