Polestar unveils a new photo of its near-complete lineup, which will soon include both the 3 and 4 SUVs and the large 5 sedan.
A few days ago, Polestar presented a first official photo of its next model, the SUV 3. This close cousin of the future Volvo XC90 only showed its profile, with a slightly sloping roof. Today, the young Swedish manufacturer shows a little more, with a new photo prefiguring the range by 2024.
Indeed, Polestar released a snap of the full lineup, revealing the rear 3/4 of four vehicles. On the left, the Polestar 2 already marketed in some countries, but not France since Polestar is on trial with Citroën. Just to its right, the Polestar 3 SUV reveals itself a little more. Well planted on large wheels, the model has the codes of the adventurer with thick black plastic shields and sills, which extend onto the wheel arches in the same material.
The handles are retractable, like many current vehicles, and the quarter panel goes up very frankly, reducing the side glazing and giving an impression of dynamism. The rear receives LED lights in the form of a strip, running over the entire width of the body. On each side of the generous hips, we also notice what seems to be an air intake. The Polestar 3 will be presented in October 2022, and officially marketed at the beginning of the year 2023.
The Polestar 4 still covered
In the center, we can see under a tarpaulin what will be the future Polestar 4. This other model, typed SUV coupe, should be launched in 2023 following the Polestar 3. It will be sleeker and shorter, with a steeply angled rear window. From the photo, the light strip is slightly different on the back. The model, on the other hand, seems to have shields and underbody very close to the big brother 3.
On the right, the Polestar 5, whose style patents have recently leaked. Close to the 2020 Precept concept, the large electric sedan will be revealed in more detail as a prototype at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, June 23-26. This almost definitive version has lost its antagonistic doors, but seems to have kept its full rear window, the rear vision being carried out thanks to a small camera. It will be available in series by 2024, and will close this tunnel of Polestar novelties. It remains to be seen whether all these will finally arrive at our house one day?
