Two actors from the Netflix fantasy series “The Chosen One” died in a road accident on the sidelines of filming.
The filming of the fantasy series “The Chosen One” has been suspended after a tragic accident. In fact, two actors have found death in a car accident last Thursday. The drama unfolded in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur.
The deceased actors are named Raymundo Garduño Cruz and Juan Francisco Gonzalez Aguilar. According Associated Pressciting local media, the van carrying them left the road in a desert area near the town of Mulegé. The vehicle would have then returned.
Two dead and six injured in crash
Two other cast members and four crew members were also on board the vehicle. They were injured in the accident but are fortunately in stable condition.
The accident happened on the sidelines of filming, details Hollywood Reporter. The van was heading for a local airport. Redrum, the production company behind the program, has decided to pause shots.
In France, last year, a similar accident occurred during the filming of “What in the Good God Have We All Done”. In April 2021, three machinists aged 19, 47 and 49 then lost their lives in an accident. A fourth was seriously injured.
The accident occurred on Departmental Road 65, near the town of Pouant. An accident-prone zone, according to the mayor of the city. It was indeed a collision with another vehicle.
The filming of the film, delayed by Covid-19, had started at the end of March 2020. After the accident, the latter had been suspended. It then resumed, with the film currently playing in cinemas.
