The British manufacturer Arrival has just received European approval for its Arrival Van electric van.
Specialist in utilities and heavy vehicles, Arrival continues to advance its pawns. Supported since 2020 by the Hyundai group, the British brand has just received European approval for its first electric van, the Arrival Van.
Presented as a crucial step for the manufacturer, obtaining this European certification paves the way for the start of the first customer trials. A final step before the production of the electric van. Scheduled for Bicester, in the United Kingdom, it should start in the third quarter of 2022. It will be used in particular to cover the needs of the rental company LeasePlan, which ordered 3,000 electric vans from the manufacturer almost a year ago.

Expected with several battery configurations, the Arrival Van should offer more than 300 kilometers of autonomy in the best configuration.
Europe is not the only market in which the British brand is interested. In the United States, the brand signed a major contract with UPS in 2020 for the supply of 10,000 electric vans.
Worldwide, the manufacturer claims a potential order of more than one hundred thousand vehicles.
