The Minister of the Economy, Bruno Le Maire, left the door open to new measures at the start of the school year.
End of the discount for all. This autumn, the government will gradually reduce the rebate put in place on unleaded and diesel since April 1. This measure will be replaced by a targeted discount for the most modest households working away from home.
But this measure may not be the only one. In an interview published Friday morning in the columns of Parisianthe Minister of Economy, Bruno Le Maire, leaves the door open to other solutions. In particular to reduce the weight of the energy bill of the middle classes.
=> How to benefit from workers’ compensation?
=> Petrol or diesel? Advantages and disadvantages
=> How much did a full tank of gas cost in 1992? And today ?
“Yes, we are open to compromise. We are ready to have an indemnity that affects the middle classes more. Let Parliament be free to make proposals. I repeat my opposition to the abolition of taxes on imported fossil fuels, which would have an astronomical blow for public finances. Otherwise, I am ready to look at all the proposals” – Bruno Le Maire
Bercy thus gives the possibility to the majority and to the opposition to propose ideas of devices. Probable answers at the start of the school year.
