This is a car that makes you travel! The S9 is a hybrid hypercar designed by Silk-FAW, a label resulting from the association of the American engineering and automotive design company Silk EV and the Chinese car manufacturer FAW. And the vehicle must be assembled in Italy!
This summary can give a wacky side to this project, which would not bode well. Still, both parties have made it known that the S9 is on its way. Silk-FAW has confirmed that it will continue with its €1 billion investment plan.
More than a year ago, the brand chose the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy, where the strongholds of Ferrari and Lamborghini are located. The government of this Italian region had recently expressed concern that the project would not take place and wanted to obtain guarantees. After a meeting, he got some. Silk-FAW will finalize the purchase of the land for its future factory in early August. The company’s headquarters and a research center will also be located on this site.

The maximum speed exceeds 400 km/h, the 0 to 100 km/h is promised in less than two seconds.
