But don’t rush to a dealership to see what happens! It’s a unique creation from the British subsidiary, designed to celebrate the festival season, most of which are back after a two-year hiatus. Hence the name of this model, the Enyaq iV 80 FestEVal, EV in capital letters to remind that it is an electric vehicle.
The transformation may seem quite simple, since this Enyaq receives a roof tent, which thus makes it possible to sleep two people. This area is accessed via a ladder that is stored in the tent.

But that’s not all. There is still a real personalization work, since two people can sleep in the vehicle. The rear bench seat, always present to transport the four people well during the day, disappears to make way for a sleeping area. The bed frame is assembled in a few minutes and the parts that make up the mattress are stored in the trunk.
It is therefore necessary to travel light, because this one is fully occupied. In addition to the mattresses, the hold receives a box designed by the Czech brand Egoe, which incorporates a gas hob, small sink and storage. This box can be unfolded at the rear of the vehicle, thus becoming more accessible to nomadic travellers.
The base of the vehicle is therefore an 80 version, with a battery with a useful capacity of 77 kWh. We know the importance of aero on the range of electric vehicles. But according to Skoda, the addition of the roof tent hardly impacts range here.
