Nine pilot markets have been selected by FedEx to test the Ford E-Transit in various road and weather conditions.

In the United States, FedEx is going green! The company has just launched a pilot fleet of ten electric vans for FedEx SameDay City, an express service guaranteeing delivery in just a few hours.

Across the United States, Ford EVs will be tested in a variety of road and weather conditions. Objective: to assess the use and limits of electricity for delivery activities.

With a range of more than 200 kilometres, the electric Ford Transit is presented as “the ideal solution” for deliveries over short distances. Beyond this experimental fleet, FedEx will deploy charging stations at each test site.

A zero-emission fleet by 2040
