We are not (yet) done with the attestation. This Monday, May 3, traffic restrictions are changing. It is now possible to leave your home without proof during the day and go wherever you want.
However, between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., the curfew remains in effect. Result: the exceptional travel certificate – it is its nickname indicated in the decree of October 29, 2020 – remains necessary if you wish to leave your home in the evening and at night.
Where to find it?
As always, sesame is available on the official website of the Ministry of the Interior. The document is presented in digital format for the telephone, generating a QRCode readable by police and gendarme devices. It is also available in .docx, .pdf or .txt printable versions. As before, you will find the proof of professional and school trip in the same place.
Remember also that a handwritten certificate (copying the terms used) is valid in the eyes of the police. Likewise, the Council of State recently indicated that the certificate had no more legal value than an administrative summons, or a document proving that you have an appointment with a doctor.
