Following its barometer on users of motorized two-wheelers carried out with Natixis Assurances (2), Banque Populaire provides concrete solutions to its biker and scooter customers. Like the partnership with the Liberty Rider application, Banque Populaire is adapting to the requirements and needs of policyholders with a new 2-wheel insurance (1). Update on this one.
Following the survey carried out with Natixis Assurances among more than 1,000 drivers of motorized two-wheelers (2), Banque Populaire provides concrete solutions to its customers in order to offer them coverage more suited to their needs. These solutions take the form of specific formulas, whose guarantees and options are differentiated in order to adapt to each driver.
A 2-wheel offer adapted to everyone
The new 2-wheel (1) offer includes a total of 5 formulas, spread over two main categories of vehicles and different levels of coverage. Thus, drivers of a moped with a cylinder capacity less than or equal to 50 cm3, or of a quad, will be able to choose between a minimum “Third Party” cover and a reinforced “Third Party Plus” cover. For their part, riders of motorcycles over 50 cm3 can also opt for a third level, the maximum “All Risks” cover including of course damage any accidents, in addition to extended vehicle assistance (0 km), theft or attempted theft, fires, and weather events. Enough to allow each driver to take out the insurance package he needs, in order to move more quietly each time he takes the handlebars.
Full options, increased compensation
Because this new formula is intended to be more complete and intuitive for drivers of motorized two-wheelers, motorcyclists and scooter riders (with displacement> 50 cm3) will also have the possibility of choosing among various options which are particularly useful in the event of a problem.
- The vehicle assistance guarantee (0 km breakdown), included in the All Risks formula, allows you to benefit from breakdown assistance even in front of your home.
- The replacement vehicle guarantee allows you to remain mobile in all circumstances, the time of repairs and the immobilization of your two-wheeler.
Rider accessories and equipment can be insured in the same way as your vehicle, even in the event of theft (option available in Tiers Plus and All Risks formulas)
At last, compensation in the event of bodily injury to the driver has been revised upwards, with a basic ceiling raised to € 150,000 (up to € 300,000 as an option regardless of the option chosen). The compensation threshold has meanwhile been revised downwards, and starts from an Injury to Physical and Psychic Integrity (AIPP) of 10%, unlike 11% in the old 2-wheel insurance
The new 2-wheeler offer (1) from the Banque Populaire provides, according to the formulas, support from A to Z in all circumstances, from the simple breakdown to the most important possible incidents.
According to the conditions, limits and exclusions of the contractual commitments in force.
