The Casino brands are stepping up their fuel operation from August 25 to September 5. The cost per liter will now be reduced to €0.70, thanks to vouchers.
Casino brands strengthen their operation on fuel prices. Indeed, from the next august 25they will offer the liter of gasoline like that of diesel at 70 euro cents. An operation that will last 12 days, until September 5. This will make it possible to cushion a little the shock of the start of the school year, for the workers.
The principle will be the same as for the operation already in place, with a liter of fuel at 0.85 euro. Except that this time, 15 euro cents more will be applied. To benefit from it, all you have to do is fill up, at the price indicated by the station. Once the checkout has been completed, a voucher representing the difference between the actual price and 0.7€/L will be distributed.
A maximum limit of 50 liters is applied. The voucher is then usable for three days (including day of issue). This from 100 euros of purchase in supermarkets and hypermarkets.
Fuel prices on the rise
Something to relieve consumers a little. For example, a full tank of 50 litres, at 1€80 represents 90€ to spend. However, the customer will see give a voucher of 35€. Which reduces the bill. And which should enable the brand’s stores to increase visits and purchases.
At present, fuel prices are stagnating or rising, after weeks of falling. So last week, premium fuels lost an average of 0.5 to one euro cent per liter. The price of diesel increased on the other hand by five euro cents per liter.
This is explained by the war in Ukraine, according to specialists. ” In my opinion, we will stay in prices like that, until the end of the war in Ukraine”, recently declared Olivier Gantois, spokesperson for the oil industry in France. It remains to be seen what this will bring in September, with the increase in the government rebate and the arrival of that of TotalEnergies.
