Arriving in 2020, the Citroën ë-Jumpy inherits the same versatility as the other engines in the range. Autonomy, recharging, equipment, price… we summarize the points not to be missed!

From the large group to the SME via the small craftsman, the electric will quickly impose itself as an essential solution to enter the city centers gradually invested by the Low Emission Zones. Aware of the challenges, Citroën has beefed up its offer of electric utility vehicles in recent years. While the Citroën ë-Berlingo acts as a pioneer in the “small volumes” segment, the Citroën ë-Jumpy responds to much more versatile uses.

Two levels of autonomy to choose from

To adapt to the needs of each profession, the Citroën ë-Jumpy offers two battery capacities associated with two levels of autonomy:

  • 50 kWh for a range of 230 kilometers in the WLTP combined cycle
  • 75 kWh with 330 km range.

In all cases, the batteries are guaranteed for 8 years or 160,000 km by the manufacturer (at 70% of the charge capacity).

The smart tool

To better support the reflections of professionals around the transition to electric, Citroën offers on its site a autonomy simulator. Accessible free of charge, it makes it possible to estimate autonomy according to various criteria: outside temperature, speed, load transported and presence, or not, of heating or air conditioning.

Simple and efficient charging

To recharge the Citroën ë-Jumpy, two solutions are available.

In alternating current (AC), the power is 11 kW. It allows a complete recharge in 5 hours on the 50 kWh version and 7:30 on the 75 kWh version. To benefit from it, you will have to have a wallbox installed in your premises or recharge at public terminals, which are more and more numerous in the heart of cities. Without it, you will have to go through a standard socket and it will be much longer.

In direct current (DC), the rafter electric utility accepts up to 100 kW of power. On a fast charging station, the charging time to 80% varies from 30 to 45 minutes depending on the battery chosen.

Powered by a 100 kW electric motor, i.e. 136 hp, and a torque of 260 Nm available immediately, the Citroën ë-Jumpy is intended to be versatile. With its compact size and top speed of 130 km/h, it is suitable for both last mile deliveries and longer journeys.

In terms of size, 2 sizes are available to meet the needs of all trades. While the M version extends over 4.95 m in length, the XL version reaches 5.30 m with load volumes that change accordingly.

All versions have a common width of 2.20 m and a variable height of 1.90 to 1.95 m. Housed under the floor, the batteries do not impact the load volume. The cabin thus offers 1.25 m between the wheel arches for loading Europallets, the volumes varying from 5.3 to 6.6 m³ depending on the size.

L’innovation Citroën

Offered as an option, the ModuWork (on 2-seater passenger bench seat) contains the writing tablet, the central storage, the right side lift-up seat and the long load flap under the passenger bench seat. A clever device that increases the loading volume by 0.5 m³ and the boarding length by 1.16 m, i.e. up to 4 meters in total.

A generous level of equipment

In terms of equipment, the Citroën ë-Jumpy inherits a better level of equipment than the other engines in the range.

Depending on the version, the electric van thus receives a central 7-inch touch screen. Installed in the center of the dashboard, it incorporates a menu specific to electric vehicles allowing consumption to be monitored and recharging to be programmed. Added to this is compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Via the My Citroën application or via the touch pad with the Connect Drive service, the user can also remotely monitor the level of battery autonomy and program charging or thermal preconditioning of the passenger compartment.

As far as options are concerned, professionals will have no shortage of choices. The offer of the chevron brand includes a dozen optional packs allowing for custom fittings.

From €40,000 hors taxes

Excluding bonuses and options, the electric Citroën ë-Jumpy starts at €40,000 excluding tax in its basic version, equipped with the 50 kWh battery.

For the version equipped with the large 75 kWh battery, it will be necessary to pay from 45,000 € HT.
