American manufacturer based in New Jersey, Cenntro is preparing to launch its Logistar 100 and Logistar 260 electric utilities in Europe.
Unknown in Europe, but better known in the United States and other countries where it has put nearly 4,000 electric utility vehicles into service, the Cenntro Electric group is preparing to launch its first two models on the Old Continent.
Called Logistar 1, the first takes the form of a small van that is both light and compact. Primarily designed for urban use, it announces 118 kilometers of autonomy in the WLTP cycle. Expected in the coming weeks, it offers a payload of 525 kilograms for a volume of 2 m³, slightly less than an electric Renault Kangoo.
Awaiting European approval, the Logistar 260 will make its European debut in the first quarter of 2023. Larger at 5.5 m in length, it will offer more space with a loading volume of 7.5 m3.

Characteristics to be specified
Motorization, battery capacity, maximum speed… for the time being, the manufacturer does not give more details as to the characteristics and prices of its first two European models. These will be officially presented at the end of September at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Hanover. An event that will be an opportunity to learn more about the manufacturer’s European strategy.

If we follow Cenntro’s nomenclature, the Logistar 260 should be larger than the Logistar 200
