We often see it, when the rain comes, some motorists quickly tend to panic and drive haphazardly. This is why we are going to see some tips and tricks for driving serenely even in the worst weather conditions.
Adapt your look
It seems a little boat said like that, but it is important to regulate your speed in the rain. Braking distances are extended and it is therefore preferable not to drive at full speed in order to avoid unpleasant surprises.
On the highway, the limitation to 130 changes to 110 and when the visibility is too bad, you have to stall at 50 km/h, regardless of the type of road surface.
It is also better avoid too sudden accelerations to maintain grip at all times.

Turn on the air conditioning
Yes, the high heat is over, but in the rain, it is important to turn on your air conditioning. Or at least the demisting system so as not to end up with a windshield full of fog and keep a minimum of visibility.
keep your distance
In normal times, it is important not to stick the car in front of you. But in the rain, this rule is even more essential and should even be extended.
This avoids splashes of water, but also to be able to brake without risk despite the wet pavement.
Do not panic in aquaplaning
If unfortunately your car skids and aquaplanes for a few metres, it is important to keep calm. Wait for the wheels to recover grip rather than trying to accelerate or brake hard.
Sudden, jerky swerves aren’t helpful in this kind of situation either..
Traffic lights
In the rain, iIt is essential to switch on your dipped headlights and especially not its fog lights. These could blind motorists in front.
